Cute Twitter Social Icons & “Tweet This” Code
Hello and welcome to AlteredAdvice,
Today we have a special treat in store: Cute Twitter Social Icons & “Tweet This” Code.
Twitter is fast becoming one of the hottest and most important social networks. This code allows your visitors to tweet about your post which can greatly increase your sites traffic.
Please let me know who created these birds so I can credit him / her.
The Icons
Right click and “Save Image As” to your theme directory in: images/sharing
The Code
Copy and paste this into notepad to strip it of WordPress formatting or you will get errors.

You can place this code in your single.php file before this line:

Some of those icons were made over at productivedreams. i’m not really sure where the others came from.

Make sure you don’t have slanting ‘ or ” characters that will break the code.
Try pasting the code into notepad to strip it of any styling Word Press adds to it before you paste it.

I really like the 5th icon from the top, which reads “tweet this”. But, I don’t want to use it, if it was scraped from someone’s site. Anyone know where that icon came from and what its license is?
