User Interface

Note the great user interface design, the colors are dark which works great with the grunge tutorial articles and bright stock photos.

A helpful styled link box sits to the right of the logo and help you locate DesignShard on social media networks. Notice the effective use of notification banners for Flickr and Facebook.

Header Logo

the logo is bold and memorial with a grunge under tone in keeping with the theme of the site.

Article presentation

Article presentation is in a grid layout. The popular image thumb and title, content setup looks great and a div at the bottom holds the category and comment count.

Sidebar Layout

The sidebar is graphically stunning with custom image gradient text and ul boxes with the articles presented in smaller image thumbs and a brief text summery.
