Web design for Churches has come a long way in recent years.
Media Companies are now providing Churches with hot usable layouts with clear navigation for things like pod casting message blog and church events calender.
I love some of the branding in these sites especially City of Grace and Church Plant Media. Great work guys!
City of Grace Church Site
Wow… that’s all I can say about this one. It’s scale is inline with elements. The logo is bold and readable. You can see what the church looks like and what the pastor looks like. Also the church location is easy to find. I can also see current events on the home page.
Correct me if I’m wrong but if I get asked to create a church site I’m using this as my Holy Grail of feature check offs.
Celebration Community Church Site
I like the gray/blue rough texture background. The logo is alright and there is a nice use of grid layout with this site.
One part I’m not too crazy about is the lower half. It looks like they sawed two different websites together. One high tech and a rustic classic and turned them into one. Also I loath the hideous rss button.
Harbor Presbyterian Church Site
I like the smooth flow all the gradients give this one. It’s just that rss button…
Inversion Fellowship Church Site
I really love the header most of all on this site.
Church Plant Media
Gorgeous all over. I could talk all day about how nice this is. I perfect UI!
Origins Church Site
This site uses great grunge effects in the web 2.0 style. The navigation is clear and easy to understand.
City Church Orlando
This site looks like it’s awesome except half the site looks cut off in FF? Hopefully they fix this site so it can be of more use to them.

My I also add these two…
originsaustin.com
citychurchorlando.com
Great list!
Thanks for the links Brian. I put them up.
